Devotees can go up to Ratna Singhasana
and free darshan.During Sahana mela and some special days this darshan is closed & at some
times nominal fees charged for darshan called as Parmanik darshan.
Usually people have darshan from
Jagamohana (audience hall) & Vitarakatha.

Daily Pooja details @ Puri Temple !!!!!!
- Dwarphita & Mangal Alati = 5am (openings of doors & prayers)
- Mailam =6am (cloth dressing & flowers decoration done to idols), Removed clothes are called as Tadap & Uttariya
- Abakash (6 -6:30 am) purificatory rites (daily chores) like brushing of teeth & bath
- Mailam (6:45 am ) changing of clothes
- Sahana mela (7am – 8am)
- Beshalagi (8am) Deities dressup & adorned with jewellery (This can be witnessed from distance called Bhithara katha)
- Rosha Homa (Fire sacrifice is performed at kitchen) (8am-8:30 am)Surya puja (at mukthi mandapa in sun temple) Dwarapal puja (Jaya,vijaya puja )-gate keepers at entrance of shrine are worshipped.
- Gopala Ballava Pooja (9am) Break fast to dieties includes sweet popcorn (khei) ,Khualadus,coconut sweets (kora),ripe banana ,curd, chipped coconuts etc.
- Sakala Dhupa (10 am) prayers are done & morning bhoga (food is offered to dieties) morning bhoga contains rice,Kanika,kechedi,green leaves & cakes etc.
- Mailam & Bhoga Mandap (11 am) pooja done again ,clothes are changed & pooja done at Bhoga mandapa (Bhoga in huge quantity) includes rice,dal,curries,saga,cakes,etc are offered.This bhoga is prepared mainly to meet the needs of different monasteries & for sale to general public. As per demand this bhoga pooja is done twice /thrice a day .
- Madhyana Dhupa (11 am to 1 pm) Afternoon food offering which includes more items then morning),We can go to Ratna Sighasan for darshan by paying special fee.
- Madhyana Pahudha (1 to 1:30 am) dieties retire for the afternoon siesta .
- Sandhya alathi Sacred lamps are offered to dieties (on ekadasi dieties change clothes after alathi is finished.)
- Sandhya dhupa (7 pm to 8 pm)Again Bhogas offered after sandhya alati same way as sahala & Madhyana dhupa.,Bhoga is less in quantity and number of items are less.again jaya mangala alati performed by lamp offering.
- Mailam & Chanadana Lagi After sandhya dhupa clothes of dieties are changed and the idols are anointed with sandal paste mixed with champhor ,kesar,kasthuri and can witness this darshan by special entry fee.
- Bada singhar vesha After chandan lagi ,dieties are dressed with Baralagi patta (silken ropes on which some portions of geeta govinda of jayadev were woven & floral ornaments.
- Ada Singhara Bhoga Last bhoga of the day & pooja performed.
- Kata Seja Lagi & Pahuda (12 am) Bed steads of the dieties are arranged, diety of sayan thakura is carried from Bhandar ghar to Ratna Singhasana & placed near lord Jagannath.Offerings green coconut ,betels,7 camphor and alati are made.,Dieties retire to their beds.Doors are closed ,sealed & no one is allowed inside temple.
